Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan is a Deemed University located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It was originally founded as Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER) in the year 1996. The university has been at the forefront nourishing a learning ambience, encouraging academic, research and innovations since its inception in 2007. The university is composed of 09 degree-granting schools with 10,000 students. It is a NAAC "A++" Grade University. The University has secured 14th rank in University Category, 26th in Engineering Category, 21st in Medical Category, 9th in Dental Category, 9th in Law Category, 62nd in Management Category, 50th in Research Category, and 24th in Overall Category in MHRD NIRF India Rankings 2024. It has also received the Graded Autonomy Status by UGC. As many as 32 Professors of SOA have figured in the top 2% scientists of the World as listed by Stanford University, USA.
